Camerimage 2020

Camerimage is the most prestigious event and a film festival is dedicated to the celebration of ciematography  and recognition of its creators, cinematographers held every year at Poland.

Camerimage is the festival formed by the world masters of Cinematography.

Apart from screening films, competition, most important happenings is the workshops,discussions, new product launch events.

Many film students, professionals, film loving public gather around in thousands to witness this more than week long event.

Towards end of the program awards for best cinematography is given as Golden frog, Silver Frog and Bronze frog.

Life time achievement, best director-cinematographer combo, music videos, documentary, shortfilms, Debut ..awards under  various categories are honoured.

2020 is a huge challenging year for film makers and organising a film event of Camerimage magnitude is tough task.

The festival guested many prominent actors, actresses and filmmakers including Quentin Tarantino, Richard Gere, Edward Norton, Keanu Reeves, Roman Polański, Darren Aronofsky, Alfonso Cuaron, Emir Kusturica, Gus Van Sant, Ang Lee, István Szabo, Andrzej Wajda, Ken Loach, David Lynch, Wim Wenders, Ralph Fiennes, Ed Harris, Charlize Theron, Oliver Stone, Agnieszka Holland, Rutger Hauer, Liam Neeson, Isabelle Huppert, Jeremy Irons, Peter Weir, Krzysztof Kieslowski, James Ivory, Danny DeVito, Irène Jacob, Jim Jarmusch, Roland Joffé, Aki Kaurismäki, Val Kilmer, Nastassja Kinski, Andrei Konchalovsky, Jiri Menzel, Volker Schlöndorff, Viggo Mortensen, Bill Murray, Jessica Lange, Paweł Pawlikowski, Peter Greenaway, Tom Tykwer, Robert Richardson, Alan Rickman and John Malkovich.

A week-long Energa CAMERIMAGE FILM FESTIVAL is open . Entry cards for the online event is still available for 180 PLN (Rs.3500/-).

Masterclasses and workshops are free to attend.
