Golden Globe Awards and RRR!

This is year 80th Golden Globe awards for Motion picture and Television  is very important because this year the glory of the event was very high after Pandemic and interesting factor RRR winning for Best Original song being first Indian film to receive the honor.

Golden Globe statuette facts

The statuette currently weighs 5.5 lbs and stands 10.75 inches tall.

The Golden Globe trophy has a 24-karat, gold-plated zinc die cast top.

The Globe is still produced with the symbolic filmstrip wrapped around it.

The exotic marble base and tapered sub base atop a rectangular pillar are some of the other highlights of the statuette.

The statuettes are housed in leather-bound custom cases with red velvet lining.

The exterior of the box is embossed with the Golden Globe Awards logo in gold.

Golden globes gave a huge attention for the Team RRR especially Director Rajamouli got appreciation from Oscar Award winning Director Steven Spielberg.

Naatu Naatu song picturization went on for 20 days- 30 days rehearsal- 60 days Dance composition – 43 retakes- 2000 cast and crew members and overall 19 months for Song Composition.
