51st Kerala State film Awards!

The 51st Kerala State Film Awards, presented by the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy were announced by the Minister for Cultural Affairs.

Kerala State film awards is most prestigious one for Malayalam film industry.

The Kerala State Film Award jury of this year is headed by the veteran actress-filmmaker, Suhasini Maniratnam. This year, two sub-juries were appointed to watch the initial entries for the awards race. Interestingly, over 80 films that were registered in the year 2020 had entered the Kerala State Film Awards race, this year. Later, the films that were shortlisted from the initial list were recommended for the final jury.

The results of the 51st Kerala State Film Awards were declared on Saturday afternoon, October 16, 2021, honouring the best of Kerala’s cinema and artistes from the year 2020.
