Recently acclaimed cinematographer is in news for being first in India to use newly introduced ARRI ALEXA LF CINEMA CAMERA.

This year a sudden fascination has caught with Cinema Camera manufacturers to introduce Full frame sensor based Digital Cinematography Cameras, now premium Cinema Camera and Lens manufacturer ARRI has gone a step further to introduce Alexa Lf camera which has a sensor slightly bigger than a full frame sensor.

Nirav Shah who has been using RED DIGITAL CINEMA cameras for past ten years and produced stunning images now shifted to the new ‘LF ‘ format is talk of the film Industry.

According to Nirav Shah  he wanted to try ARRI ALEXA LF camera  has he sees this larger sensor size is going to be future tech that will give more field of view than any format like super 35mm or even full frame sensor would produce, then more add on advantages is that  more clean images in a extremely low light conditions, higher frame rate  and the roundness  of the image that this new camera produces.

This large-format 4.5 K version of the ALEXA sensor,” that is a  bit bigger than full-frame. On the front of the ALEXA LF is a new LPL mount designed for the new ARRI Signature Primes that can cover the new large format sensor.

According to ARRI the new camera system comprises of the ALEXA LF camera, ARRI Signature Prime lenses, LPL lens mount and PL-to-LPL adapter. These system elements have been designed to take fullest advantage of the enlarged sensor, while also offering compatibility with existing lenses, accessories and workflows.
