Now Sony has released an application that allows digital camera to become a very high quality webcam.

Sony finally answered that call by releasing a free utility named Imaging Edge Webcam that lets you use 35 of its cameras as webcams over USB. Supported cameras include every Sony a7 and a7R since the Mark II, all three a7S cameras, both a9 cameras, and the a5100, a6100, a6300, a6400, a6500, and a6600.

Imaging Edge Webcam’ that allows users to easily transform their Sony digital camera into a HIGH QUALITY WEBCAM by simply connecting it to a PC via USB. ‘Imaging Edge Webcam’ allows users to live stream and video conference IN ONE EASY STEP while also taking full advantage of Sony’s advanced imaging technology such as industry-leading autofocus, high resolution picture quality and additional unique features of each compatible camera.

The utility is free to download on Sony Website Simply select the camera you intend to use the program with and click the download link.

It is a cloud-based video conferencing platform that can be used for video conference meetings, audio conferencing, webinars, meeting recordings, and live chat.

A “Zoom Meeting” simply refers to a meeting that’s hosted using Zoom, and attendees can join the meeting in-person, via webcam or video conferencing camera, or via phone.

 Zoom Free:  With the free version of Zoom, users can hold an unlimited number of meetings, but group meetings with multiple participants are capped at 40 minutes in length.

2. Zoom Pro:  Zoom Pro costs Rs.1200 approx a month/meeting host, and this tier allows hosts to create personal meeting IDs for recurring Zoom meetings, allows meeting recording in the cloud or on users’ devices, and caps group meeting durations at 24 hours.

Once you’ve selected the zoom you’d like to start using, you can sign in and download Zoom onto your computer to start using it. Users can sign up using their work email if they’re signing up for an individual free account.

Google Meet is free without time limit you just have a Gmail Account in PC/ for mobile you have download through play store and sign in.

After installing APP or sign in through your laptop.

to join a meeting: To connect to a webinar, enter the 8-digits webinar ID the organizer provided in the invitation email or the simply clicking the link, sometimes pass word will be provided.

Then you have to join by enable the audio / video option,  just touching the symbols of mic and video, If you feel to just listen to the proceedings you can off both video and audio.

How to conduct a video meeting.

  1. Open your Zoom or google meet or Cisco  app on your desktop and click Sign In.
  2. Log in using the E-mail and password that you have created, or with Google(Gmail), Facebook
  3. Click the downward arrow and select Start with video, then click New Meeting to start an instant meeting.
  4. Copy the link and send invite to the people you want to join your video conference through whats app or Mail ID.
