Refurbished ALEXA cameras direct from ARRI

Arri group of companies for the first time they had just announced to sell second hand Alexa cameras which will be refurbished under their certified program.

The Certified Pre-Owned Program has been set up so that more filmmakers can get access to ARRI technology. It also gives educational institutions a cost-effective way of providing high-quality equipment for their students.

Currently the camera will be delivered directly from Munich Germany, on its first step they had selected to offer Arri Alexa plus cameras, the used cameras will be checked at Arri’s service center.

During the certification process the ARRI service center performs

• recording functions
• connectors
• flange focal distance
• audio systemI
• ARRI Lens Control System
• update to the latest Software

After quality check is performed to its optimum quality cameras will be given official printed certificate from the ARRI engineers.

The buyers along with Arri Alexa cameras will be also be provided the certificate  and are covered by a one year warranty.

Arri ALEXA PLUS 4:3  is a 35 format film-style digital camera with electronic viewfinder, integrated shoulder arch, built-in support for the ARRI Wireless Remote System (WRS),  ARRI Lens Data System (LDS). ALEXA Plus 4:3 has also the ability to switch from 16:9 sensor mode to 4:3 sensor mode, and built-in licenses for high speed shooting, DNxHD recording and anamorphic de-squeeze.

Cost of the camera is priced approx 13900 euros.
