Venice international Film Festival one of the most prestigious and oldest event that celebrates art of cinema across the globe.

Last year pandemic had impact on this film festival.

This year calendar for Venice festival arrives on September 2021.

The 78th annual Venice International Film Festival will be held from 1 to 11 September 2021. South Korean director Bong Joon-ho has been appointed as the President of the Jury, marking the first time a South Korean director has been picked as Top jury.

The Golden Lion always signals a massive wave of incoming success for  winner; Nomadland won in 2020 and Joker won in 2019,this festival introduced films like Rashomon ,Battle of Algiers to the world audience.
