DJI mavic 2 pro/zoom

Dji has announced a new set of two cameras for aerial cinematography to satisfy almost all the technical features DOP’s need…especially a lens with variable focal length.

The new ones are Dji mavic 2 pro and Dji mavic 2 zoom.

Dji pro model features 20 mega pixel sensor with one inch size and high quality Hasselblad camera which uses h.265 codec ( HEVC high efficiency video coding) brings a more clearer and detailed images.

Improved color science with haselblad natural color solution HNCS with whooping 1 billion color variations.

It has f2.8 lens opening allows for low light performance and a zoom range limited to 24-48mm.

Dji mavic 2 zoom another variant features 12 mp 1/2.3 inch sensor but has more zoom in features upto 96mm.

Both these models have a 4k recording,hdr, and extended flight time nearly 30 mints.

These drones feature dolly zooming facility…a technique invented for a hollywood film vertigo long back…but with aerial filming combined by zoom creates new visual possibilities.

Additionally hyper time lapse can be done that is recording time lapse by moving flight.

Dji mavick 2 new release has most advanced omni directional obstacle sensor technology that allows to film through narrow places smoothly, safely.

The zoom operation, 10 bit color recording and traveling speed boasting to 44km/h to 72km/h all these features make ease to get all done with drone filming rather using High end helicams.
