Cinemas now shifting from 2k\u00a0 to 4k\u00a0projection\u00a0 is happening in a rapid pace all around the world. Televisions also upgrading to UHD ( Ultra definition 4k ) and news of 8k Television and broadcast to happen in\u00a0 very near future.<\/p>\n

SONY now has made a huge step of building a format named PREMIUM LARGE FORMAT\u00a0 ‘PLF’.<\/p>\n

Sony is introducing Sony Digital Cinema, the company\u2019s experiential premium large-format (PLF) movie theater auditorium.\u00a0 Working in conjunction with state-of-the-art movie theater company, Galaxy Theatres, the world\u2019s first location will debut at their Las Vegas Boulevard Mall venue, which is planned to open in Spring 2019.<\/p>\n

Sony uses a dual laser projection system \u2013 which provides exceptional picture quality and immersion \u2013 along with powerful sound and luxury reclining seats. Sony says that with its system \u201cyou\u2019ll pull audiences deep into the action from the very first frame\u201d and adds that \u201cwith our easy-to-manage projectors it\u2019s simple to switch between 2D and 3D for each show.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sony new screen size also will be very huge\u00a0From 32.80 feet screens right up to 75.46 feet and beyond with a high quality 8k images.<\/p>\n
