Sigma FP cinema camera was launched first time in India at Chennai Hyatt Regency 13th October at a closed gathering where the New Cinema Camera was unveiled by SICA\u00a0 Gen.secretary B.Kannan.<\/p>\n

The event had a introductory session given by Shri.Anand Seshan of Shetala Agencies who gave broader view about the advantages of using SIGMA FP along with its functions.<\/p>\n

A short video screened\u00a0 about the SIGMA Lens manufacturing unit\u00a0 located at AIZU JAPAN , where there is no pollution and glacier filled lakes with water quality is so good which is key for Manufacturing lenses.<\/p>\n

As introduced by Shri Anand Seshan FP stands for Fortissimo Pianissimo Italian words that sounds a High Tones and Soft tones as comparably this Camera can be customized as very large unit by attaching V mount batteries, external recorders with display and with rib cage it will shape up as a bulk Camera, as well in its original form it is the smallest unit that has incredible features.<\/p>\n

Uniqueness of this camera is it doesn’t have a low pass filter in Sensor construction, which is a bold step\u00a0 to get maximum information from Sensor, along with that\u00a0 shooting raw video in a compact device heat issue is a major concern Sigma has come out with a HEAT SINK between Camera Body and LCD monitor to vent out the heat generated whilst recording high resolution videos.<\/p>\n

This camera can also serve as Dircetor’s Viewfinder with just a push button DVF which will allow to replicate the lens info according to the cameras like RED, ALEXA with its respective model and sensor size for lens coverage.<\/p>\n

Soon SIGMA FP\u00a0 camera weight around 400 grams only its price factor is 2 lakhs approx will allow many users to get a cinema camera with a price of regular DSLR.<\/p>\n

At the end of the event SIGMA Suresh Kumar presented about the details of Vintage Cine Lenses from Sigma and MC 31 adapter for FP camera to use PL mount lenses.<\/p>\n
