Aputure’s Sidus Link App has been around for a little while now, and have quickly become one of our favourite ways to control any light. It’s great, the mobile app is free to download on both iOS and Android and allows for full control over any of Aputure’s recent fixtures, as well as some of Aputure’s older lights.<\/p>\n

The app allows for simple brightness and colour temperature adjustment, which is the more everyday feature of the app you’ll end up using, and we love it. It works just as it should, it’s responsive, intuitive and generally makes life much easier when you’re working alone. You also get RGB control with one of Aputure’s RGB fixtures, which allows for fine control over hue and saturation, along with the ability to record lighting effects, i.e natural fire-light, that can be stored in the app and applied to an RGB light when needed, the app provides lots of features like volumetric control by simply recording a music beat..thro app aputure lights can generate illumination sync with the sound.<\/p>\n
