Sony way first in the world to introduce electronic cinematography in 1980’s when film was the best recording medium.

Sony then came with a premium cinema camera Venice.which has 6k full frame sensor with advanced color science developed by Sony.
Speaking with Sandheev Nair from Sony he states that a new Sensor was built for Venice model, it can accommodate any type of cine lens by just changing with one touch button for s35 or 4/3 sensor mode.
As anamorphic squeeze factor plays important role for 6:5 or 4:3 mode can be switched easily in Venice.

Sony Venice also has a most advanced and reliable OLED viewfinder which is asset for Dops for smoother camera operation and color judgment.
Sony has R7 recorder which can be docked back side of Venice camera body enables a Xocn a recording format which has 16 bit linear and uses only half the data of Raw format.
