Smooth gliding movements are most important aspect in film making, there had been more inventions right from steadicam, gimbal to support camera for smooth glides over movement.

Kessler just announced a camera vibration isolator  for hard mount, especially when mounting options on a moving vehicles such as car, jeep and even while using into cranes.

Vibration and Shock isolation systems lower the transmission of vibration and shock between two
interconnected objects. Such systems are commonly realized by placing a set of resilient elements
such as elastomeric (rubber), steel, or air springs between the two objects isolated from each other
(e.g., a piece of equipment and its support structure/base).

The KillShock has a round top and bottom plate to have multiple isolation distribution points and to keep the camera and gimbal mass centred, this modular shock isolation support system can be used for different payloads for different camera weights.

So this system allows to use  from dslr cameras to Red Cinema Cameras…best thing about this anti shock and vibration is it enables  to use tele lens without jittery.

The KillShock comes standard with eight red Shock Modules. Kessler will also offer two other Shock Modules in blue and black.

Blue – Light:
For smaller digital cinema cameras, mirrorless or DSLRs

Red – Medium/Standard:
For packages like a RED, C300 with cine prime lens.

Black – Heavy Duty:
For RED, Alexa Mini, Ursa Mini Pro, Phantom Flex, etc package with cine zoom, heavy primes and a large gimbal

Biggest advantage is very quick and easy to mount and also very cost effective. It has many mounting accessories like Michell based tripods, cranes, jibs, sliders and dolly systems,100mm bowl for inversion mounting on cranes, sliders, dollies.
