Canon Super Cine Zoom lens

Canon which has a steady business into Cinema Cameras has brought lots of good cine lenses.

Now it has surprised with a Cine Lens Zoom range of 50- 1000mm for super 35mm Sensor cameras.

This Lens truly an achievement for its focal length range that would be best bet for Wild life and sports Cinematography.

It’s a parfocal lens which means that the lens maintains focus throughout the whole zoom range. This is particularly nice since you can use this feature to set focus on a subject at 1000mm and then zoom out for your desired framing without losing focus.

Canon superior 50-1000mm cine servo zoom is  with a length of 15.9″ (40,4 cm) and a weight of 14.6 lbs (6,6 kg), this zoom lens is quite compact for what it has to offer: a 20:1 zoom range, servo motors for zoom, iris and focus

1.5x extender additional option allows to get further zoom tele range of 1500mm,with some high resolution 8k cameras from Red with extra range of tele can be pushed more  from filming in 4k with crop factor into play.

Coming to Lens opening it offers a T5.0 – F8.9 iris. That is at super Tele Range the lens maximum aperture opening would be F 8.9.
