LENSBABY – MOVIE MAKER KIT II (TILT LENS SYSTEM FOR MOVIE MAKING)

LensBaby is a very popular product and company in providing special effects optic lens for still photography. It was founded in the year 2004 by professional photographer Craig Strong.

Lensbabyrecently introduced Movie Maker’s Kit II which enables to create unique incamera effects to the videos.

The kit contains two ComposerPro II lenses, one with a PL mount for use on PL mount cinema cameras and one with a Canon EF mount for use on Canon’s line of DSLRs that shoot video. The kit also contains Lensbaby’s most popular interchangeable optics to provide limitless aesthetic and creative options for film makers.

This tilt lens allows to physically tilting the lens in front of the camera, which can create stunning imagery, since it tilts the depth of field along with it andsimulates selective focus effects.

This kit includes a wide range of interchangeable optics and accessories designed to provide with a wide range of creative options for filmmakers at a variety of focal lengths. The Composer Pro, for instance, allows for selective focusing – it will bring one area of the frame into sharp focus, surrounded by gradually increasing blur.

Effects like blurring, glowing highlights, and subtle, prismatic color distortions can all be achieved. The lens can be bent off-center in any direction for different results. There are 7 Optic Swap optics included (Double Glass, Fisheye, Pinhole/Zone Plate, Plastic, Single Glass, Soft Focus, Sweet 35) -different “optics” that provide you with an almost unlimited variety of looks and styles to capture your unique vision.
