Mobile phone into super 16mm ( 4/3) Camera : Yongnuo YN43

Cell phone cinematography is another area into film making getting bigger day by day, recently important film festivals had a feature film shot completely by a mobile device.

To facilitate to record videos professionally many accessories are in rise like tripods for filming with mobile phone.

Only problem is the sensor size is very small it creates entire sharp images that look very flat…and to tell stories you need different lenses for different coverage of action and composition.

For all these a solution is arrived with a chinese lens manufacturer Yongnuo is about to introduce a camera attachment named YN43 which has a micro fourth thirds sensor (super 16mm) this will be paired with your cell phone via wifi and blue tooth mobile device becomes a LCD screen and enables to operate it by menu functions.

Front part of YN43 has a ef  mount where we can use interchangeable lenses of our choice.

Yongnuo YN43 Camera when attached to the mobile turns out to be a micro fourth third camera..so now with these combination Cell phone cinematography can be done very professionally by choice of different lens and good videos in low light mode, above all the shallow depth of field.

Like DSLR cinematography, Cell phone cinematography is another way of modern film making tool having this in mind RED has also announced its high resolution video recording mobile device ”Hydrogen One”.

The YN43 provides the sensor, and a Canon lens is mounted to the other end, completing the modular camera.
