IFFI GOA- Inaugural film review

Catching Dust is the opening day movie screened at IFFI GOA on 20th November 2023. With much expectations I booked this movie. Movie started with a bang of good visuals and background music. Slowly the movie exposed it’s plot and characters. In the beginning, a couple family is hiding low in an American Texas desert.

The husband Clyde is very rigid and tough with his wife Geena. The real problem arises when two more couple accidentally joins them as their neighbours. Things started losing control when both the families don’t find a reason to live together.

Positives of the movie are definitely Cinematography, and Background music.

Negatives are many

1. Lack of character development.

2. Uneven narrative method.

3. Multiple point of views

4. No justifying resolution.

My rating for this movie is 4/10.
