Cannes one of the greatest film festival an annual event marks as most prestigious one for world cinema.

Now, as the prestigious Cannes Film Festival prepares to pay homage to Director and Cinematographer Santhosh Sivan his remarkable career with the 2024 Pierre Angénieux Tribute.

Indian filmmaker Payal Kapadia’s All We Imagine As Light on Thursday scripted history by becoming the first Indian title in over 40 years to feature in the prestigious In Competition section of the Cannes Film Festival, where it will compete for the top prize Palme d’Or.

The Cannes Film Festival will kick off with the world premiere of Quentin Dupieux’s surreal comedy “Second Act” starring Lea Seydoux and Vincent Lindon. The 77th edition runs May 15-25.
